Removing the Trivia section for this page unless someone has an article from the developers stating that the Abyssal Chain was based off of the Hookshot from The Legend of Zelda. To my knowledge, there's nothing officially linking the two, and not everything in this game needs to be magically linked to LoZ. With the Voidwalker likely being based off of Portal, and the Crossblade being based off of Dark Sector, it would be more accurate to compare the Abyssal Chain to Bionic Commando if we were to guess, regardless.
