Shade

Shade is an Enhancement in Darksiders III. When equipped, it grants the following effects:

• Active Effect: Increases arcane damage of the slotted weapon.
• Passive Effect: Grants arcane damage reduction.

Location

Found in Haven, near the Maker's Forge Serpent Hole once you obtain the Storm Hollow. Proceed from the Serpent Hole down the wooden stairway and swing across the grapple point. Immediately turn left and use the Storm Hollow's glide to jump across the gap into the other building. There will be a large open space further down with whirlwinds for Fury to glide down to another ruined building. Climb up the floor on the left, then turn around and use the grapple point to swing to the other wall, where the Shade Enhancement is sitting.

Upgrades

To fully upgrade an enhancement (By speaking to Ulthane), a total of 12 Angelic Artifacts, 12 Demonic Artifacts and 1 Essence of a Chosen are required. The materials and fully upgraded stats remain the same regardless of whether choosing the Angelic or Demonic path. Each enhancement comes with a flavor quote that changes depending on upgrade path and hints at the origin of the enhancement's power.
