The Ravaiim were the first race to fall before the Nephilim when they started conquering worlds.

The Ravaiim, some of the eldest of the Old Ones, were hailed from an epoch so early in Creation that life itself was more fluid than it is today where the lines between craftsman and craft were blurry. They, the Ravaiim, were related to Makers, but they were not Makers, they were something different, Something more primal. The Ravaiim didn’t create tools the way the Makers do; they sculpted them of their own flesh and bone. It was a process of months, even years, but with proper training and focus, one of the Ravaiim could remold a hand into an osseous blade, or weave a sculpture from shed strips of his own sinew and skin.

Their kind was still primitive compared to the First Kingdom and the Second Kingdom when the Nephilim chose them as their first victims. The Ravaiim ability to craft their own flesh to create tools and weapons was the reason why they were targeted. They were exterminated and at Death's suggestion their remains were used as raw material in the creation of semi-sentient weapons containing massive, world-ending power called the Grand Abominations; power that was the harnessed potential of tormented Ravaiim themselves. They were said to have been the first race to shape an entire world for themselves, as well as having birthed the concept of civilization.[1]

Nothing is known about Ravaiim society save that it was primitive and was killed off before it could even begin to reach its full potential.
