Kothysos was a realm destroyed by the Nephilim during their crusade across the realms under Absalom. Several races of Old Ones, fearing that they could not defend themselves should the Nephilim horde turn their attention towards them, hired a large force of Demons to pre-emptively crush the Nephilim. The battle would ultimately end in a Nephilim victory, but at a high cost; it marked the largest single loss of Nephilim life prior to their eradication by the First Kingdom and Four Horsemen at Eden.
The Nephilim lost two powerful weapons at Kothysos that were later recovered. The first was a potent sword named Affliction and the second was the Grand Abomination Earth Reaver.
